O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

We want to share a post from a blog written by our Sister in Christ Megan, living in Gressier Haiti (where we will reside) with her husband Josh.  They run Respire Haiti . The mission of Respire is to encourage, educate and empower the restaveks (child slaves), orphans and vulnerable children of Haiti.  God IS blessing this ministry and they are making a difference within the community.

Megan’s most recent blog will give you a glimpse into the daily battles faced and one reason we, along with a number of others, desire to share God’s truth…His hope, His freedom, by introducing these beautiful people to our Savior.  Only by His transforming power will we see “the things of this world grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace”.

What a privilege to be part of what God is doing in Haiti!!

Please take a few minutes to read “The Climb” by Megan Boudreaux.  Thanks Megan for allowing us to share this!
