“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Rom 15:5-7
This is a joyful time of year that while celebrating we often suddenly find ourselves over eating, over spending, over planning and over committing. We can find ourselves battling unrealistic expectations and struggling with family related issues. For many people, because of this, the holidays become the most difficult time of the year leading to feeling blue, anxious, angry, stressed, even depressed.
Pray with us that each of us would leave space in our schedules to reach out with Christ’s compassion if God gives us an opportunity to breathe His words of life into the broken life of another…maybe to one another. Jesus really is the reason for this season!
Galatians 6:2 tells us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”. Lets bring praise to our Father making ourselves available to spread His joy.
What a privilege to carry each other’s burdens and lighten the load! Amen. What did I ever do before Christ? Life was a mess with no hope. Praying to keep our eyes on Jesus this holiday season. Great devotion, thank you! ❤
